North West

Being born into the mega-rich Kardashian family, it comes as little surprise that North West had not one, but two first birthdays!

After spending a day at the Kids Museum in New York city with dad Kanye West and mum Kim Kardashian, North West was the guest of honour at her very own music festival: Kidchella.

Hosted at the swanky home of aunty Kourtney Kardashian, Kidchella was everything you’d expect from a mini festival, featuring face painting, a ferris wheel, fancy dress and even a main stage where the kids could get up and belt a tune!

Blue Ivy Carter

The daughter of possibly the world’s biggest power couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter was always going to be a spoilt child!

She had an official credit on her dad’s track ‘Glory’ which recorded when she was only two days old, and mum and dad shelled out a whopping $200,000 on her first birthday, half of which was spent on pink and white roses!

She also received a custom made $80,000 Barbie doll and reportedly a real life horse!

And while young Blue was probably preoccupied with her super–expensive Barbie, her mum’s old group Destiny’s Child even had a one off reunion for the night!

Suri Cruise

Tom Cruise and Katy Holmes have already spent a small fortune on the various birthdays of their nine-year-old daughter Suri.

They allegedly splashed out $100,000 on her second birthday, roping in celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck for the catering!

The couple spent $5,000 alone just on the cake, and a further $230 on cupcakes!

Brooklyn and Cruz Beckham

While nowadays he’s a moody teenager with a growing social media following, back in 2005 Brooklyn Beckham was still an innocent six year old!

Being son to one of the most famous celebrity couples in the world, no expense was spared for his sixth birthday bash where they reportedly lavished $187,000 on a custom built playhouse, more than many would spent on an actual house!

While perhaps not as expensive, younger brother Cruz’s fifth birthday was just as impressive.

The superhero mad youngster was taken to the Hollywood “Extreme Martial Arts World Headquarters” dressed as none other than Optimus Prime from Transformers.

Kingston Rossdale

Gwen Stefani and her rock star husband Gavin Rossdale threw a $15,000 birthday feast for their son Kingston on his fourth birthday.

As well as the standard bouncy castle, face painting and balloon artists, the pair indulged in a candy floss machine, and an impressive spread consisting of burgers, hot dogs, tacos, quesadillas, French fries and more!
